della is essentially a demonstration piece to present a massive projection to the public during the 2025 Digtal Graffiti festival.
In testing feasibility, a simple 6k SONY projector was used with a battery pack to check how the architectural elevations of the building would correlate with a mapped projection. As there are restaurants and apartments in the building, only the columns and parts of the facade could be used as active projection surfaces.

With feasibility established, templates were developed and the site was specified for 3 linked Panasonic PT-RQ35K projectors. Lens distances were calculated remotely from Satellite imagery.
The work itself was prepped in After Effects at a canvas width of 6000 pixels – creating around 80 working clips of 2 minutes in duration. These were modified and edited in Premiere, to fit the prepared audio base. All of the work ran from a 3080 Laptop with an HDMI splitter pushing the three projectors.
A “preshow” reel was made to play graffiti style images for the days leading up to the Festival, and the actual program played Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday nights facing the public passing on the amphitheatre green space, and beyond that the 30A highway.
