This project in 2014 involved development of media programming for the innovative Samitaur Tower, designed by Eric Owen Moss Architects as part of the Conjunctive Points precinct in Culver City, California. This permanent five story building / projection surface is based around 10 high resolution projectors and delivers an addressable area of over 4600 pixels x 5800 pixels.
I developed a production workflow to integrate various media elements into the workspace, and ran a 10 week research class allowing students explore media development for the tower.
My class produced 20 minutes of media and I made 2 pieces, danaus plexippus and never so alone as part of the exhibition. The media work created a unique event for the Culver City area, activating the tower with its first truly bespoke content.
